PLAYGROUND INSPECTION:
Our Certified Playground Safety Inspector inspects playground equipment and safety surfacing for the most common safety concerns as identified by the Nationally Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA).
Our playground inspector checks for improper protective surfacing, inadequate use zone, protrusion and entanglement hazards, entrapment in openings, insufficient equipment spacing, trip hazards, lack of supervision, age-inappropriate activities, lack of playground maintenance, crush, shearing and sharp edge hazards, platforms with no guardrails and equipment not recommended for public playgrounds.
PLAYGROUND AUDIT:
All playground audits are conducted by our Certified Playground Safety Inspector. Playground Audits determine if playground equipment and safety surfacing are in compliance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Guidelines.
Certified playground audits check for compliance with ASTM Standards F-1487-07: Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use, ASTM Standards F-2223-04: Standard Guide for ASTM Standard on Playground Surfacing and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Handbook for Public Playground Safety Guidelines.
